PRODUCT INFO
Each strip of whole meat chicken jerky is slowly dried at low heat, sealing in natural flavor and nutrition while preserving the texture that dogs love to chew. The guaranteed minimum of 1.00% crude fat suggests that the product is designed to be lean, with very little added fat. The fact that it’s listed as the first ingredient indicates that it’s the most prevalent component in the food, which is consistent with the high protein guarantee. While the first few ingredients typically dominate the recipe’s composition, ingredients in small quantities can still have a meaningful impact on the overall nutritional profile of the recipe.
